What difference does this make? Some lower level employee will see this, roll his eyes, and then continue on with his day.
Beyond this, do you think Apple can actually take any other position than aligning with fascism? That was always going to happen. They literally can't help but align with fascism- this is the culmination of late stage capitalism.

Also on a side note- you should switch to Linux because you should take charge of your own hardware and learn how it works before it's taken away from you. You should do it for open source and for freedom. Not threaten to do something because a company is doing company things.

I hope it becomes usable. If they hold there promise. Linux Wayland apps could be run through emulation layer, FreeBSD apps would run native and many MacOS apps should work out of the box.

Wrote App Store review, then deleted maps. Installed Organic Maps to replace.

I've been struggling without public transportation in Organic. It kinda works? Like it shows the path but doesn't actually show the stops or station names
is there an easy way to export all my map markers from google to organic? I've saved a lot of locations over the years.
hmm I wondered this too. I have a ton of starred places as well as some custom lists. I wasn't able to find anything to do it, but would also be interested in this.
I can't be the only one who feels like this is the absolute lowest priority of dumb shit to resist the regime over. It's just filler. Another thing he is doing to flood the zone. But one that really doesn't hurt anything. It's a distraction. Ignore it and focus on the actual damage he is doing.

As someone from the outside, you wouldn't even see the US specific naming. If complaining in a bug report about the fact and threatening to abandon the platform in favour of Linux is all you can do, man, don't bother xD.

To be fair, the entire history of humanity is full of exactly that. These are mostly just aimed at and recognized by the US. Same as Russia currently renaming occupied villages. Nobody else recognizes those, it’s just not that special or important at this point, with all of the other shit going on.
Ultimately, the names of places change. All the time. And will continue to change. It’s just what we do as humans. Somebody uses force and swings their dick around and locally others have to either accept it, silently or whining, or punch the fucker. Elsewhere people fight similar fights and care very little about the other dickswingers far away.

But google shows this imaginary trump name around the globe, not just in America. That is different to how google handles the fantasy names for lands China and Russia claim they are theirs..
Also, reporting that Trump Tower (either) should be renamed Mexico Tower feels pretty good.

You should abandon Apple for Linux anyways. Apple doesn't care about you, your privacy, or anything but them making more money, from you. This has been proven time and time again by evidence and whistleblowers.
Eh, out of all my own traffic I’ve MITM’d it’s mostly been third-party SDKs in apps doing creepy shit.
Down to hate on Gulf of America but when it comes to privacy it’s debatable.

Shout out to the menial workers at Apple Maps who are going to have a crap day at work tomorrow because of the thing their boss made them do, so they don't get fired and replaced by someone else who would do it.
That's why they made Apple intelligence so minded numbingly stupid. Job security. If it were capable Apple management would have replaced everyone.
