I know Murderbot is supposed to be genderless, but because the author is female, Murderbot has always come across as female to me. I'm not sure how well a guy will do in this role, it'll be interesting to see.

I envisioned Murderbot more or less as the picture. Hopefully they can make it work for everyone..

Same.
As I recall, everyone assumed male when it started trying to pass as human.

If anything the costume makes it look too human. I imagined clearly robot, accept for the head.
