Just so you know, using the term subreddit when you mean a community on lemmy could result in people not realizing what you mean, since this community is for lemmy support.

Anyone just scrolling by is going to think you're asking about something on reddit. I did, and came in to see if you'd been caught by one of their new censorship filters. Can't help you with lemmy stuff, I'm too new here.

I had a similar problem. It was a result of the “show read posts” being unticked in my profile settings. Unfortunately, this also appears to hide your own posts.
