i just bought a handful of dvds hoping to rip them since i can't seem to find the files i want anywhere, but the software i used in the past isn't working anymore; i've scoured reddit, including this sub, and other parts of the internet for more updated/relevant software, but i keep running head first into brick walls.

wondershare uniconverter, makemvk, handbrake, vlc, dvdfab, dvddecrypter - nothing works, either because it can't read the file or the software dumps out when i try to select the file.

i'm not sure where to look next, i've run out of ideas. help?
