They'll never see a penny. He's kind of famous for not paying people you know. He got his 5 seconds of media spotlight for saying it, and there will never be a followup about how he never actually did it.

Honestly surprised he hasn't suggested charging them for the use of the ISS facilities while they were stranded up there since it wasn't part of the planned mission.
