One doesn’t graduate from Juilliard and just leave without a flourish

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang as everyone mentioned.

I remember watching the very forgettable movie Felon some 15 years on DVD and thinking the only good part was Val Kilmer.

I was trying to remember the name of this movie, thank you!

[–] anaesidemus@hexbear.net 5 points 2 days ago (1 children)

he's very cool in that one

[–] MoonElf@hexbear.net 2 points 1 day ago

if you watch his netflix documentary, he really wanted to be an actor and was disappointed in roles like Batman. I think he took The Saint so that he could do all the fun disguises and play all these different characters and really act. It's a cheesy movie with a silly plot and one of my top Kilmer films!

"Holey rusted metal, Batman!"

"...What?"

...is probably my favorite exchange in a Warner Bros. Batman flick.

I'm gonna have Kiss From a Rose stuck in my head all day.

Aw fuck, that sucks. RIP.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is another good one with him. He's also good in Bad Lieutenant: Port Of Call New Orleans.

Top Secret is awesome, just as good as Airplane or Naked Gun

[–] Nakoichi@hexbear.net 8 points 2 days ago

I think that was his first film too.

[–] someone@hexbear.net 5 points 2 days ago

I think it's even better. That barfight scene was incredible.

His portrayal of C unth in MacGruber was legendary.

[–] SevenSkalls@hexbear.net 2 points 1 day ago

I really need to see Tombstone and Heat.
