Imagine some parents in ancient greece deciding to name their child Java Script Object Notation.
I'm sure many objected to that
It's so weird that names mean stuff and aren't just a feel. How many cultures besides Americans have names with no meaning?
Basically all names have meaning if you trace the etymological roots back far enough - even American's. In most cases, those meanings are just unknown to the people passing them down.
