bleak as the surface of the moon. there are 4500 sites that want to sell me a PDF for $8.99 but not a single hobbyist site in the first dozen pages. remember when the internet used to be useful?

yeah sheet music is one form of media i was never able to consistently pirate successfully. not sure why

Was happy to find piano sheet music for music by the j-pop band Perfume on Jpopsuki once. Never thought to look for sheet music on piracy websites.

I used to be into transcribing various pieces of music (usually tv themes etc) on free sheet music composing & sharing sites. Most have disappeared or added monetization. Searching for sheet music sucks now...

For guitar-bas sheet/tab music years ago I went to guitarinstructor.com and I signed up with my yahoo.com email account and they gave me a 7 day free account. There was no credit card bullshit. I got access right away. They spammed that email but I didn't care. That account is my go-to for very annoying sign-ins. I tried a large number of temp email accounts and none of them worked.

The site had PDFs and vids. I don't remember how now but I figured out a way to download both. All I remember is the PDFs were annoying to download. PDFs can have a "time bomb" and die after a certain period but mine still work. I just checked one from 2021 and it works.

For piano music? I have no idea. Could there be a piano version of guitarinstructor.com?

I gave up finding guitar and bass sheet music. I can find free tabs easily, but not sheet music.
