Well... I very much liked the source material. It was only a few pages long, but man did it have a kick. Not action wise or anything. Just... really klicked with me, more than the movie did.
Edit: actually? The ideas in the movie are pretty fucking dope. Forcing the heroes to wear sunglasses for plot?? Shooting at the police?? And those are the heroes?? Shit it definitely needs a remake.

I totally agree. This movie is great, but I think a modern remake would be interesting. It’s such a commentary on the rich and powerful people controlling everything, and now we are seeing so much more of that

Why would You remake a good movie? Remake shitty movies with a good premise. Imagine a current remake of They Live. The aliens would be CGI. The alley fight scene would be done with stuntmen and to hide it, there would be so many cuts, You wouldn't be able to follow what's going on.
