Hi! This is a place for you to share everything positive with kind strangers on the Internet.

Made new friends? Found love? Got a new wonderful job? Bought something cool? Found something amazing on the Internet? Maybe had a wonderful celebration? Maybe something else? Or you're just in a great, grateful, relaxed mood and want to share some of it with the world?

Share it, and let the fire in your eyes brighten everybody's day, for joys are best when shared!

Rules:

  1. No negativity: This is a safe and positive space. Make sure your posts and comments respect that. If you feel offended by any of the posts - feel free to message admin(s)!

  2. No discrimination: Posts and comments should not contain any forms of discrimination and hostilities to any groups of people.

  3. No gloating: If you got happier by making someone else feel worse, this is not the place to share it. This is a place to express gratitude, and share moments that will feel warm to everyone.

Rules are work in progress and subject to change. If you want to help moderating the community and keeping it alive, let me (Allero@lemmy.today) know! Everyone is welcome!

The last few days had been warm, full of that early spring energy where everything feels like it's waking up.

But this morning was different. The air was colder than usual, and there was that quiet threat of snow just hanging in the air.

Still, I pulled on my jacket and headed out for my morning walk. The cold hit my face and snapped me into the moment. Still a great peaceful walk.

I always come back from those walks feeling lighter, more open to ideas. Problems seem smaller. Worries shrink.

I've been doing a lot of citizen science projects with my microscope late, and at least today I won't feel like I'm missing nice weather!

Today I thought of a saying, and it felt true in my bones: “Positivity grows where your feet take you, not where you wish you were.”

It’s simple, but it reminded me that forward motion, even on the rough days, makes all the difference.
