Yep! This has been an awesome year for me so far. What's funny is when the market first starting going crazy earlier this year, I got on Lemmy and everyone thought the world was gonna end and that Trump was Hitler, WW3 was here, etc.
I told everyone, "Hey the market right now is like shit being on sale. I'm buying a shitload and waiting for market to pop back up!" No one listened to me. Everyone was adament that the market was doomed forever. Called me a troll, etc.
So I make a bunch of money. Get on, pretty much to say "told ya so!" And everyone starts talking about how it was a scam and insider trading and politicians were doing to to make money. Everyone on Lemmy says the market flucuations were on purpose so rich could make money.
Ok, but Lemmy was saying the market was gonna be ruined forever. Now Lemmy said the short term dip was on purpose just to make politicans money? Which is it?! LMAO
Also, so who the fuck cares if it was a scam? Lemmy can make money the same exact way. Buy low, sell high. Know the scam. Play the scam.

Yeah its not logical. I also think there is an agenda behind Trumps actions. Maybe he wants to crash the dollar for his pal Putin, I have no idea. But you are right that every one of us can choose what we believe and put money behind it.
If I would have paid attention to the madness of Trump last election, I would have shorted the market as soon as he came into office. But instead i figured that he would want the market to be strong. I was dead wrong. Shit happens. But im not blaming anyone but myself for that.
