We are a libertarian sub, about libertarianism.

We do not owe you a platform to push anti-libertarian ideologies. You can comment but not post articles, because there are bad-faith posters who want to post horrible content just to get people in trouble.

πŸƒπŸŒ» Rule 1: Kindly be empathetic and kind to others. Trolling and spamming will not be tolerated. Making the community a friendly & supportive place is our goal.

All of us are here for a short lifetime. Let’s have a nice time here and avoid negativity. :)

They cut $150 billion from things such as scientific research and weather reports (to be fair they also cut propaganda networks), and added $150 billion to the war budget. Meanwhile they are taking the police state to new heights in suppressing the freedom of expression, and charging high taxes via tariffs. That's not a smaller government allowing you more freedoms, if you support this administration as a libertarian you are very confused. I remember when you guys acted like you were against war and the surveillance state!

I don't support all aspects of this administration. And I've never said such a thing. But I like what they've done with DOGE.

I'm not confused at all. I am allowed to like whatever I like. And you are allowed to like whatever you like. That's ok.

They didn't save any money, they just redirected it into war.

I'm happy with the DOGE cuts.

DOGE cuts $150 billion, about 2% of the federal budget "DOGE has cut as much government as one could hope for"

Talk about damning with faint praise
