I would like to add terminal sounds to my computer. Think the sounds on terminals in Fallout or Starfield. Has anybody already attempted the project and how did they achieve success?

What kind of sounds? You probably can set bell sound in most terminal emulators, if you want some kind of typewriter sound look at 'cool retro term' it might support something like that.

In windows it's pretty easy to change all the sounds it plays. You can do it manually from the advanced sound options area if you have the .WAVs you want to use, or you could simply download a pack with an installer that will do it for you. Though, this hasn't been a common thing since the early 2000's; it might be difficult locating such an installer these days.
