Especially a week or so after they lost, a health insurance CEO was gunned down in the middle of the street, and the bipartisan reaction of the people has largely ranged from cheering it on, to a weak "I don't condone it, but I understand why he did it".
That seriously should've been a wake up call to the dems. If people hate health insurance so strongly that they cheer it on when one of their executives is killed, that's something people will go for if they campaign on it.
Dems have the political instincts of a walking corpse.
