I usually buy cases from Spigen but that's just my opinion.

I've put a Spigen on every phone I've had for the last 10 years. They work great. You have good taste!
Same. Just the basic rubbery ones are fine. You really just want to protect against basic drops.
And from sliding off every fucking thing. I don't know what Google does to these phones, but any time I take my case off I have to be careful about where I put it down, because even on a level desk it manages to slide off and hit the floor.
Supcase has an otterbox-like case for most big brand phones (including Pixels) that is also cheaper and better quality than OtterBox.
I really like dbrand cases. They still stock Pixel 6a cases.
+1 for dbrand cases, awesome. Not their screen protectors though.

Another supcase unicorn beetle vote. I used them on my 3a and now on my 7a. Great cases.
I should have gotten this. I had a dbrand and the screen cracked on the first drop. I like this over-screen style, I think it's much more robust.
Im a fan of spigen liquid air, it got little triforce. but this year i bought ringke onyx. Mind you im using 8a. Im much prefer ringke quality, feels good to hold and thicker than spigen liquid air.
The problem with spigen is, after a couple of months the surface turns shiny and got minor scuff etc (not that im complaining since thats the point of a case) but ringke onyx is still in good condition compared to my old spigen liquid air.
Just wanted to say that I shattered my Pixel 6a's screen a few days ago. I didn't have a case.

The 6a replacement screen is damn near the price of another used phone. I'm with the other poster, I ended up just getting another used phone, a Moto Razr+ 2023 fold. Unfortunately, no custom ROMs for it that I've found.
So I'm a farmer and the unholy things that my phone get subjected to makes it hard to find something that's strong yet useful. I've either been lucky or this phone is exactly right for my lifestyle. It folds up small enough that it doesn't get bent in my pocket or fall out. I'm a little worried about the outer screen but I've dropped the phone closed a couple times on gravel, no damage. And I think it closes up small enough that it might survive a trip up the grain auger, which is what got one of my phones a couple years ago. I haven't had a phone survive so long undamaged yet. And I just have a pretty minimal case on it, no hinge protection.
Now that I say that, I'll break the screen tomorrow, I imagine.
From what I found online, just buying the replacement screen will cost upwards of 150$. I bought the phone for 300$, so I'm not very motivated 😅
