Trump must not remember the USSR siding with Hitler at the start of the war, the Berlin Wall/Airlift, the Cold War, both invasions of Ukraine, the Battle of Khasham, or a hundred smaller things. Such a mystery.

Ni need to go back that far. Putin has been an asshole dictator who loves playing land grab, that's more than enough

In 1987 trump went to russia. When he came back, he took out full page ads in the NYTimes sucking russias cock. He has been an asset since then. Somehow, people still can't figure this out.

Trump is a moron, as if nothing changed in 85 years. Except Soviet unions was a totalitarian regime, ands so is the Russian federation today.
Europe also used to (mostly) love USA, because USA helped us in WW2, now we can't cut the ties fast enough.
All of Europe is working hard on ridding ourselves of US weapons and services because of Trump and MAGA and what Republicans in general have become.

Russia is a fascist state now, and so is USA. So of course we hate both of you.

American here.......yeah, fair enough.

Yes this is so sad, but we've kind of seen it coming since George W Bush was elected twice. I really hoped Harris would win, and it would have been a completely different situation now. There are lots of good Americans, but unfortunately too many Republicans have been hellbent on destroying everything for decades.
Seeing Mitch McConnell sitting at a hearing with his yellow/blue tie makes me sick. He has been among the major forces to destroy democracy in USA.

Putins pet is yapping again? Good pet, isn't it?

"And then I spoke to President Putin at the time. He lost 51 million people. He (sic!) fought with us in World War II."

Well, for a WWII vet, I guess Putin is still looking pretty good?

He didn't. Trump also didn't.

OK, looking at how Israel and various cutthroats are perceived by the west, it's a valid question why Russia is seen differently.

Russia is "first world". It's a Fuck the lesser situation.

My partner works with some Ukrainians who are here temporarily until the war ends. I cannot begin to imagine what life must be like for them, some have husbands or children in service. What will life be like when they return home, will they have a house left, a job, infrastructure... Must be pretty damn awful to live with these thoughts day in day out.

So much for the American dream and the pursuit of happiness. (I guess by ignoring everyone else it makes it easier for America to achieve!)
