There was posted here a really good rant on USA being the third military in the world by power, I really liked the reading and want to read more from the author. Any other folk who have this article saved? Sorry if this is quite silly, I'm quite dumbfounded myself on how I can't seemingly find it here.

Bumping because it sounds like something I'd like to read too.

I've been joining in the chorus of "the US is a paper tiger" costanza-maoist mostly because of my read of the capitalist rot of US military procurement but I'm sure there's more angles to explore

Was it this one? It doesn't explicitly say anything like "the third military in the world by power" but it's the best candidate I can find of recent vintage.

Nope, as far as I can remember it was a substack blog with a custom default html-ey appearance.

Hm. I found one that has that phrase from a site that's been previously linked on here.
