Idk why you’d be upset, it just means it’s time to talk to your kid about sex and to give him some damn privacy too lmao

Exactly. Have the talk that porn isn't representative of real life and move on.

Don't be like my dad and take your preteen to a therapist who says that 12 year old boys shouldn't be interested in sex (what a fucking quack).

That sounds like a "councilor" and not a therapist. A therapist has qualifications.

Young boy search histories are great. I remember when my little brother borrowed my laptop once and when I got it back there was searches on Youtube for "boobs", "big boobs", and "big boobs jumping". Guess he's a boob guy.

Even if not a boob guy, or even straight, boobs are often just hillarious.

If you feel the need to search your kid's tablet, smartphone or PC it's either too young to have one unattended or you should reevaluate your educational methods.

If a kid feels like it needs to lie and hide all the it will do so.

And what are these parents expecting to find? Documents of an international drug cartel? It's porn, games, questionable videos and memes. You knew that beforehand. Talk to them, make sure they know their various ways to stay safe online, physically and mentally.

My friends with kids mostly look at their shit to make sure they aren't involved bigoted online spaces.

Yeah, or chatting with a stranger who, to an adult, is obviously an adult acting as a child. But, to a child isn't so obvious.

Or being extorted in other ways.. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/764_(organization)

oh yeah, they watch for a lot of things. The reason I brought up the one I did was my one friend's son, who is now an adult, fell heavily into the red pill nonsense, and it caused serious problems. So other friends are particularly on the look for that. Most of the kids are now in the mid to late teens, and early 20s though, so they mostly leave them be now.

Keep them away from Bigoted Bill.

I see what you're saying but kids don't always lie out of malice. Sometimes they are just stupid.

They can't tell you they are being groomed if they themselves don't realize it's happening, for example.
