Doctors and nurses worried they will have to grow a spine and do things the ways their forbears did in order to help their patients. Precious few of mine, or my wife and kids' doctors, have been interested in doing any more than the bare minimum they could, both to stay out of trouble, and moreso to keep from getting in trouble(mostly, having to expend any effort to ensure insurance paid them).

It sucks that last bit goes with the job description, but this "the system mostly works"-state we've been in for decades was both a fluke and a lie, where healthcare is concerned .

Needed a follow up for people that answered yes, "did you realize it before, during, or later? If later, how much later?" Young people are oblivious to their own feelings and the feelings of others. According to the down-votes, are trans women supposed to be the exception or something?

She might be effectively retired, but she’s worked as an actor for decades. Even on The View, she’s portraying a character for money. Fuck with Guinan at your peril.

People don’t suddenly lose their claim to “working class” when they’ve saved enough to retire. She worked as an actress for decades to get where she is now.

Why don’t we go tell Tim Walz that twenty-plus years enlisted and working as a teacher means he was never working class, just because it didn’t leave him poor in the end?

Could be. The obliviousness is far more disappointing though. She might have liked OP better than her boyfriend in the end. At a minimum "I (knowing/unknowingly)turned down a threesome" is lot less pathetic than what we got.

Problem with corporal punishment is that the adults who would put it in the job description and accept it will tend to be into it. Same for domination.

I prefer a job where the methodology at least trends towards the supposedly intended results, no that I'm opposed to fetish/kink fulfilment. Just don't tell me the purpose is to help you write an unrelated book, or that my performance is evaluated by your progress in such at all.

Again, I don't care what they are or are not missing out on. I care what they ruin for others, intentionally or otherwise. I'm sad for the rest of us that these sad-sacks are so certain of their majority and righteousness.

Oh no, there's so much more to be sorry for those people for besides just what they miss out on. I'm actually more prone to being sorry they are so vocal about it.

More hassle than just writing the book for you, and less claim to royalties/compensation. No thank you.

First time that thing bucks, her neck is snapping, and the nicest horse you'll ever meet would never put up with this shit for long.

Bother? Maybe. Understand how that thing could be even a tenth as old as it looks, used even once, and still in (relatively)one piece? Never.

While we're at it, am I missing at instance-agnostic method for linking posts as well?
