Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

I was having a nice time forgetting that she ever existed. Presumably she was unhappy with no one paying attention to her so she had to say something. But if we don't respond maybe she'll go away.

I know it's not strictly relevant but back in the day on the other place in a thread about her somebody commented how attractive she was and that they wouldn't mind her pissing on them and putting cigs out on their chest.

Quick as a flash I replied 'That's funny because I wouldn't piss on her if she was on fire'.

Got a month ban. Fuck it's nice to be able to say things on Lemmy and not worry about shit like that.

Also, Fuck Pritti Patel.

There is literally zero reason they couldn't come back whenever they want, if they are still there now fuck them. If they haven't got the common sense to get out of a war zone, when it's perfectly possible for them to do that on their own, then frankly I think we should let natural selection take care of it.
