Wtf is she fishing for anyway? Blue whales?

And where the hell did she get that giant fishing rod? Looks like it's at least 70m long.

That's what I dislike about games that portray an insane urgency for the main mission. I enjoyed Cyberpunk 2077 the most before getting the chip and the "OMG you'll be dead in a few weeks or even days!" started. Just kills my enjoyment of any side content.

I agree for any game that's open world/has side content/etc. I don't like feeling like I can't do stuff because the world will end if I take a detour. It's ok for more linear/on rails games where it builds tension, and there's nothing else to do.

I loved Cyberpunk, but that part was annoying. It also made the narrative a little less impactful when I'd spend a while fucking around, and that should mean I'm already dead by now.

Mass Effect 3 pushes you to optimize your routes because of the Reaper invasion. That killed the joy of exploration for me.

Hunting in literally any Far Cry game

Well, if you wanna carry 3 more shotgun shells, you have to kill that albino elephant.

I honestly thought it was just a silly gimmick for the longest time, but I actually ended up spending a significant amount of time going fishing in Far Cry 5 and 6. The graphics are just so beautiful, and the constant fighting and shooting gets a little old sometimes.
