4 polycules of transbians?

[–] davidgro@lemmy.world 5 points 4 days ago

Just people I know to be trans and working in tech. I didn't guess about loneliness. Actually I would guess about 1/3 of those who come to mind are trans men. Also not especially antisocial compared to the rest of us, but then the joke is that the whole region is antisocial.

idk the lore here, but from now on I'm going to use this technique on cities I have some beef with or something

[–] lessthanluigi@lemmy.sdf.org 8 points 5 days ago (1 children)

There is this popular phenomenon here in Seattle called "The Seattle Freeze". Basically its where people don't talk to eachother on the street.
I thought all cities were like this. Nope, even LA is better than this.

Also, the big tech boom, not just Microsoft, but Amazon, has a huge tech impact on the city.

Some recent stats have showed that seattle in terms of population have the most people on dating apps, and the most men/women ratio, and also loneliness.

And last but not least, over here, it is hard to know a person here who does not know another transperson.

Fried chicken restaurants serve American food, and American food restaurants serve fried chicken, but there's enough of both that they end up needing their own spaces

But only till transitioning and then she'll be straight again (thus making it fake)

Only until annon starts transitioning and it becomes real and gay again >:3
