If anything, this should accelerate it's development due the new sense of urgency. Kind of like how China developed their bomb after their worsening in relation with the soviets.

The craziest thing is Trump is giving them nuclear strategic ambiguity that will function regardless of whether China and Russia apply pressure against weaponizing Iran's nuclear program. What a bizarre situation
