Last time I was at the dentist a guy in the waiting room was loudly watching a movie on his phone. After a couple minutes I went over to him and politely asked him if he could turn it down and he immediately apologized and obliged, no fuss or anything. I felt like a god for the rest of the afternoon. Big ups to that guy for being cool about it too.
