I was looking at Voyager on my phone and saw communities I hadn't subscribed to in my home feed, and upvotes on posts I hadn't voted on (or even seen before). When I tried to remove the upvotes, a message said "problem voting, please try again".

Thankfully, when I view PieFed through Firefox, these problems don't exist, so it must be the app. Not overly surprising since it was initially developed for Lemmy, I believe.

Not sure what changed to cause this problem or whether the change was in Voyager or PieFed.

Raised report at:
https://github.com/aeharding/voyager/issues/2110

This happens to me via the app and via the web (Vivaldi browser).

This has to be an api problem as the web ui doesn't seem to suffer from this and it is being reported for multiple apps now in these comments. rimu was just working on optimizing these api routes within the past day to make them more responsive, but I am guessing that a filtering step must have been missed as collateral damage.

Yes I probably broke it. Will fix asap.

This must be something with PieFed: Interstellar user here and I am seeing not-subscribed communities on my sub feed too.

Indeed, thanks!

Just created an account and have been logging on to various clients (mobile and desktop) to find a good one, and I can confirm the same issue on all of them. So it's likely a piefed thing.

Amazingly quick! Thanks! I'm on piefed.zip. Will it take an update for it to take effect on my instance? I still see the random posts.
