Community rules:

Be respectful and civil with each other. Don't be a jerk. There is a real human being on the other side of your screen. See also the Blahaj.Zone Community Rules

No bigotry of any kind allowed. Making racist, sexist, trans-/homo-/queerphobic, otherwise demeaning and hateful comments is not ok. Disabilities and mental illnesses are not to be used as insults and should not be part of your comment unless speaking of your own or absolutely relevant.

No gatekeeping and being rude to people who don't agree with you. Leave “gamer” stereotypes out of your comment (e.g. sexless, neck bearded, teenaged, basement-dwelling, etc). Don't compare people to animals, or otherwise deny their humanity. Even if you think someone is the worst human on the planet, do not wish death or harm upon them.

No "justice porn". Posts regarding legal action and similar is allowed, but celebrating someone being harmed is not.

Contrarianism for its own sake is unnecessary and not welcome.

No planning operations, no brigading, no doxxing or similar activities allowed.

This also applies to other forms of authoritarianism and authoritarian or criminal actions by liberal or leftist governments.

NSFW threads, such as ones discussing erotic art, pornography and sex work, must be tagged as such.

I kinda hate how we’re censoring everything to be this plastic Barbie world.

Why can’t we talk about sex, and why is everyone okay just censoring tons of words on social media now?

Talking out in the open is not harmful. Talking in private to a non emotionally involved about shouldn’t be considered wrong (doing so to a hosted one that vacuums up your data is harmful, that’s a different topic though)

It's because radical right wing religious fundamentalists use "protecting the children" as an excuse to force their twisted world view on the rest of us.

They can complain about protecting children but they’re protecting a man named in the Epstein files.

These people are worshipping nothing Jesus taught and every warning of what the Antichrist would be.

Fuck them, I’m sure God hates how they live their lives.

Fits every description of the antichrist to a T

I’m basically an atheist but I recently have been asking if that man has a pact with the devil.

Nothing ever hurts him somehow, and the more evil he acts the more these people love him.

In general, authoritarian power structures reclaim sexuality in order to “sell” it back to you as a reward for supporting the system: Capitalism literally sells it to you, Religion grants it to you for creating more adherents, and the State allows it when beneficial to its interests.

If you want to understand a social system, look to the ways in which it seeks to inhibit or control sexuality.

This is just an extension about the Christian right to hide anything about sex including sex education not to make anything "safer" but to keep them in control. These laws are so broad and vague that they take down sex education as well outright porn but they focused on the porn to sell it. With their parallel push to classify anything discussing gay / lesbians / queer anything as porn they are trying to take it all down from the internet. At this point even if you "can't say gay" in school any child with a phone could find reliable and helpful information from other people like them online.

They don't care about safety for children, or women or sex workers since having upfront and clear information about it helps them all. They want them hidden and afraid so they can selectively enforce rules against people without power while those with it can profit off them. Keep sex on the internet
