Hello everyone,

I have started to build my digital comic library and I'm looking for something like mediainfo but for cbz/cbr files. Intention is to compare image quality (like pixels, ppp, colour management,...) between files as I wish to keep best quality I can find. Comparing file size is a way but I guess it is like for video and will vary according to scanning settings.

If you have ImageMagick (or one of the derived packages) installed, the identify command might cover a lot of the bases. For example, picking a random image on my hard drive, it reports back PNG 740x555 740x555+0+0 8-bit sRGB 1007460B.
