~~Now I want to see how they enforce it.~~

Police Chief Kevin Hall, asked Monday what officers would do in response to a 911 call about immigration officers violating the city’s law, was clear: observe, attempt to keep the peace, and otherwise do nothing.

“SPD cannot and will not interfere with a federal law enforcement officer,” Hall said.

Instead, the law would potentially give residents the ability to sue the federal government and other parties for violations, ...

So it's window dressing, as expected.

Good on Spokane's city council for at least making a symbolic gesture, I suppose. It's more than most cities are bothering to do.

I would have hoped that at least verify the presence of federal agents, not random gangsters with no uniform and no ID.

I love all the people saying they aren't allowed to stop the SS from doing SS things.

Good little nazi, you know your place.
