In charge of nukes and thinks polygraphs are real. That’s great.

Everytime I hear about someone or some agency asking for a lie detector, I know that they or the people running the organization are full of shit.

If someone learns something bad about you, and your first reaction is not "this is why it's not true" but "how did you find that out, we must punish the person who told you," you might be a violent POS.

Kinda looks like a dictator grasping at the straws of power.

If it walks like a duck, eats like a duck, quacks like a duck.....

Polygraph (lie detector) tests don't work and never have. The person who created them pointed out they don't work like that, but the judicial system ignored him.

[–] Meron35@lemmy.world 2 points 10 months ago

The judicial system has largely ruled polygraph tests as inadmissible since 1998.

Eh, why not use a Ouija board instead? Get all the pseudo science deployed to find these leakers.

Their polygraphs, which science has debunked as being inaccurate! The horror!

Has he also released the attendees...

  • Horoscopes
  • Phrenology results
  • Palm readings
  • Personal breakdown of each of their four humours
  • Galaga high scores
  • Yu-Gi-Oh trap cards

What other critical measure am I missing? Help me out people!

He should get it over with and call no confidence on his own government.
