If you want a tasty breakfast but, like me, you're a lazy asshole who doesn't want to put any actual effort into it, then this one's for you.

You will need: Sliced bread, vegetable butter, sugar, cinnamon

  • Toast the bread
  • Melt the butter on stovetop or in microwave
  • While waiting on the above, mix 3 parts sugar with 1 part cinnamon
  • Once the bread is toasted and the butter melted, pour it over the toast (this will help the cinnamon sugar stick)
  • Pour on the cinnamon sugar
  • Enjoy

Margarine might be available if you can't find the dedicated vegan butter replacements near you

Be sure to check the ingredients if you use margarine, though, as it's not guaranteed to be vegan. Check the off-brands, animal products are more expensive so not using them is a common cost-cutting measure.

Do you use the veggie butter spread stuff or the sticks that are better for baking?

[–] BeamBrain@hexbear.net 3 points 8 months ago

I use the spread myself.
