Grilled some burgers and broccoli for Independence Day. Hard to beat a nice German-style potato salad as a side.

That potato salad looks amazing. I have never heard of German potato salad but I'm definitely going to try it.

It ditches the mayo and makes a dressing with bacon fat, vinegar, and whole grain mustard. It's one of those great "more than the sum of its parts" recipes. https://www.seriouseats.com/german-potato-salad

Yo, when did we start grilling lemons?

Grilling lemons is awesome! It makes the flavors a bit more complex and loosens up the juices. Plus it can add a bit of smokiness to anything. Tossing some broccoli and a lemon on the grill while cooking burgers or steaks is a great way of adding a slightly lighter side to a cookout.
