You know this one's dated because I'm pretty sure by today's standards having only a C: drive is quite unusual. Hard to find statistics on it but I'd wager most people have at least 2 storage devices, especially an SSD / HDD combo is pretty popular.

SSDs are cheap nowadays, you can very easily find a 2TB SSD for under 100 bucks.

This comic was ahead of its time. Back when it was written, optical disc drives were still common, so an external drive would be E: or higher. Now, though, it's actually realistic.
