I get companies are conservative as hell, but I was really hoping the transition to electric would open up some interesting, newer designs.

I was just reading that article. I've been in enough European cities to see where that would be a great fit. So, sure, like that. I look at the picture of the car in this article and I wonder why it looks like an ICE car. I know there are basics of aerodynamics and impact resistance...it's just boring.

I couldn't agree more! Especially Aptera, their approach to right to repair is just chefs kiss.
