Why Luna and Gaetz, and nobody else? Why them specifically? I'm really skeptical about this but you never know...

Yeah, I’m hoping there were actually more involved. As much as I don’t like Gaetz being central to it, his position on the Armed Services committee has given him more access than some other reps.
If I’d hazard a guess, this meeting could have taken place in Florida, potentially Eglin AFB. That’d explain specifically those two reps since they’re out of Florida. Though I wish Moskowitz would have attended to balance out potential political bias.

“We can confirm that we received a briefing with Rep. Luna. We have no comment on the contents of that briefing at this time,” a spokesman for Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) sends Ask a Pol.

That’s not disputed by Luna, Gaetz or their comm’s teams
I think it speaks volumes that Luna could only respond "I cannot discuss these things, you know that,” and “I'm sure we'll have field hearings. No comment.” She hasn't been one to pass up speaking on the topic in the past. Politics on Luna and Gaetz aside, for the topic of UAP their statements and actions have been echoed across congress across both parties. While this is just rumor at the time, it does seem that there's been more action taken by congress so far this year.
