I've never talked about anything that could even be considered close to Marxism with that side of the family. This MF has a sixth sense or something.

His previous book suggestion to me was 'How the Catholic Church Built Western Civilization.'

I don't have any purpose to sharing this. I just thought it was funny.

This is supposed to be anti communist? The cover goes so hard

It does go pretty well on the bookshelf. Seems a waste of a rad design.

‘How the Catholic Church Built Western Civilization.'

It's not even that far from the truth, but it's a horrible thing to be glad of.

I've since tried. As another poster said it doesn't read particularly well and I got bored, so I just tried to find a funny quote to relay. But it's pretty dry and conventional. There was a chapter on how American Communists mistreated homosexuals though, which was of course written from the perspective of someone who hates homosexuality anyway.

lol I just read the first few pages and it reads like a kid that hastily threw together a book report

Marx was famously an atheist. He wore a fedora. He attended the Satanic Temple. He had a Baphomet tattoo on his left thigh. He talked about psychedelics a lot more than he took them, but he did take them. You know, atheist stuff.

It doesn't take much for people to jump into the "you're a dirty Marxist" conclusion for some folks, basically if you get upset with injustice, and not think the the world is everyone by themselves, it's enough for the(dunno how is your father in law not assuming it just giving it as an example) Ayn Rand evangelist to think that you are an evil Marxist
