I wiped or replaced twelve years worth of stuff, including a few posts that were the only result on search engines for a few very niche problems. Fuck'em.
Don’t worry; Google AI will still repeat them verbatim soon because they’ll be trained on all previous edits of all comments as well.
You didn’t think “delete” actually deleted anything on any website, did you?
Of course not, which is why I said "replaced". My script replaced my comment with random excerpts from " Moby Dick", "Lady Chatterley's Lover" and a few scientific papers I downloaded from some repositories. I did this three times before ultimately deleting the comment. My original comment might still be in the dataset, but parsing out what is the actual answer and what is just noise, might be difficult.
