I've seen that story before

The economy needs more people. Local population can't afford more children so no extra new workers available. Thus immigration is increased. People don't like that many immigrants and start to vote right. Authoritarian leaders come into power. Things go downhill.

This is being reported as "is this even a news agency?" and to be honest, I'm not finding a lot saying one way or the other.

I'm leaning toward leaving it alone because:

a) I don't see anything calling them out as not legitimate.

b) Searching the text of the article doesn't show it being a copy/paste from somewhere else. That was the problem we had with ANOTHER African news site.

c) The news agency they cite, ‘Al Ahdath Al Maghribia’, definitely IS legitimate.

d) We don't see enough news related to Africa and frankly, it's a little nice seeing something that isn't "Israel, Israel, Israel, Ukraine, Israel, Ukraine, Ukraine, Palestine."

If anyone finds anything to the contrary, let me know. It does seem sus that searching for this news agency mostly turns up articles BY them and not a lot ABOUT them.

I wonder if this has consequences for the Moroccan transport sector, but this also sounds good for Moroccan transport workers (short term).
