Everyone knew it was bullshit when they claimed it, but even now that it's admitted to be false, it's not going to have any effect on governments support of their genocide in Gaza.

The propaganda isn't for the leaders of other countries, it's so the voters in those countries don't replace the leaders for funding genocides.

I'd like to think no leader of a country is really dumb enough to still be believing any claims made by the Israeli government, but it's hard to tell these days

It can have effects on public sentiment which can influence leadership’s behavior. I would argue this has already happened to a notable degree.

Yeah Gen Z has hard time understanding why we blank checm support Israel doing genocide...

I guess they need more Holocaust history classes to fix that!

Ironically I think learning deeply about the holocaust is a big contribution to my outspoken opposition to mass killings of civilians, such as by the IDF. If you are able to study history and see the overall patterns of violence and oppression then you will be more likely to speak out when you see the same patterns. Even if the perpetrators are the descendants of former victims.

Somebody learned the right lessons or maybe all of genz did... Prior generations learned that genocide is fine as long as my team is doing it? Good to see some change finally coming 80 years later.

They had one false claim. I mean usually you'd expect 0 but MBFC's bias is very obvious here and in other cases. It's one guy's personal project why do we take it so seriously?

BTW from MBFC

Despite the biased presentation, articles are generally well-sourced to credible media outlets.

This isn't breaking news, we've known it was false almost immediately.

I do agree it's not productive to post a source as obviously biased as OP's tho. No one is going to listen to that site except people that agree with it solely because of the name.

Reporting genocide is a bias now. Highly suggest reading Lewis Raven Wallace's book A View From Somewhere. It discusses how "objective journalism" silences marginalized voices and forces those writers to "see both sides" of their material reality. Media Bias metric sites are not without their own inherent bias towards the status quo. Everything is political. Including being "unbiased". Electronic Intifada is reporting from Gaza about Gazans, they are doing great work.
