Lot of space, good price, nothing more. Says it was built in 2023, might not be finished. Would be better if it was just an empty lot.

that’s a storage building / warehouse conversion …

(heh, the “house” across the street is a metal roof over a trailer …)

[–] Gingerlegs@lemmy.world 5 points 7 months ago

And a pool! What a steal

[–] Moonrise2473@feddit.it 2 points 7 months ago

A place like that needs a HOA???

[–] Trainguyrom@reddthat.com 2 points 7 months ago

I've absolutely built homes that look like that in the Sims!

But seriously what is up with that town? Just jumping around on Google Street View you're hard pressed to find a single permanent house that was actually originally a house, and almost everything is either a long term RV plot or an old manufactured home

Has HOA: Yes
HOA fee: $500 annually

LOL

This where Dad lives after the divorce.

This property coming to AirBnB just in time for your suicide note.

Because wall cabinets and cabinet doors are abelist.

Tiny homes are so lockdown, so I bought this smol home. Follow for my smol home journey. #efficient #anticonsumerism #minimalism #SSRI

It's a "convert a shed to a house and only reuse what you've got laying around from past renovations"-challenge.

[–] jettrscga@lemmy.world 9 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Curtains instead of cabinet doors under the counter.

That's a new one for me. I guess cabinet doors are expensive.

[–] Croquette@sh.itjust.works 12 points 7 months ago (1 children)

It's usually used in a small shack where a door could not fully open.

This is just dumb in a house.

[–] uservoid1@lemmy.world 4 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Maybe they took the original trailer cabinets and use them after the "renovation"

[–] Croquette@sh.itjust.works 2 points 7 months ago

Would make sense for a quick flip on this shitty place.

[–] isthingoneventhis@lemmy.world 7 points 7 months ago

What the fuck is going on here

[–] Kolanaki@yiffit.net 7 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Nearly $100k for that? I could just rent a storage unit.

[–] metaStatic@kbin.social 9 points 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago)

I'd rather own a piece of shit than rent it from some asshole

[–] AFKBRBChocolate@lemmy.world 7 points 7 months ago

Almost looks like it's made from a mobile home that they DIY redid.

[–] delicious_justice@lemmy.world 6 points 7 months ago (2 children)

Flooring as wall tile? Of the many offenses, this is the biggest for me.

But the street name is hilarious- it sounds so 80’s suburban subdivision.

[–] lightnsfw@reddthat.com 1 points 7 months ago

Was gonna say "I think that's the same flooring I have" lol

[–] boogetyboo@aussie.zone 1 points 7 months ago

And it may have actually worked if they ran it horizontally instead of vertically like the wood panelling of yore

[–] Lifecoach5000@lemmy.world 5 points 7 months ago

350 sq ft? Thats redic.

[–] thedeadwalking4242@lemmy.world 5 points 7 months ago

I love how the flooring looks to be ply wood but they've used flooring for the walls in the kitchen

[–] RedditWanderer@lemmy.world 4 points 7 months ago

Built DIY in 2023 ya

[–] Tebbie@lemmy.world 3 points 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago) (1 children)

I actually love it. I wonder if they were going for the aesthetic?

I should say, though the toilet is poorly placed.

[–] Syd@lemm.ee 2 points 7 months ago

Yeah I could live somewhere like that easy, but the price is absurd.

[–] Riven@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 7 months ago (2 children)

I've never seen a toilet like that, anyone know what's up there?

[–] can@sh.itjust.works 12 points 7 months ago (1 children)

I think you may be seeing the floor of the shower behind the toilet as part of it?

[–] Riven@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 7 months ago (2 children)

Yep didn't have my glasses on, now that yall mention it I see that its just a regular toilet. They got merged with my blurry eyes. I thought it was some weird bidet/toilet situation.

[–] SeedyOne@lemm.ee 5 points 7 months ago (1 children)

My eyes are fine and I still made that same mistake. Looked like a really odd double toilet.

[–] can@sh.itjust.works 6 points 7 months ago

Urinal sidecar for your bro

[–] snaprails@feddit.uk 2 points 7 months ago

Same here 😀

[–] hardaysknight@lemmy.world 3 points 7 months ago

Looks pretty standard?

[–] Emperor@feddit.uk 2 points 7 months ago

Never mind the innards, look at our porch!
