New from Kbin. I’ve been using my Ender 3 V2 3d printer for a while but would love something that could cut foam, paper, and wood, as well as burning designs. Are there machines that can do this for cheap?

Cheapest option is probably the laser add-on for the Ender 3. Not a super amazing machine and definitely not fast. But it is pretty cheap. Just make sure you get some good laser safety glasses that are rated for whatever wavelength it puts out. Because that is as open frame as it gets so you are going to have laser reflections that could potentially blind people blasting all over the room.

I second the k40. I've had mine a few years and it's a champ. I have exhaust hooked up so everything gets vented. Those open air diode lasers scare me I'd def burn my eyes out.

I have a k40, it's a Chinese laser cutter that can be had for around $400.

It's been great for me.
