Hmmm, interesting. Could be a plan C solution. The desktop with the music is windows so I hope wsl plays nice with. I read that most players support .m3u playlists so I wonder if can ensure all of them match between players if I take that approach.

I use iBroadcast
This appears to be a cloud based solution, which is fine and I do synch lockfiles in that sort of manner, but I wonder if it's overkill for the music side of things. I'm fine with synchs occurring only when my devices are either in the same network or connected by cable.
