Hue emulator/ diy hue. It runs on Linux or an old router. I have it running on a raspberry pi attached to my network. You can use official hue products or a handful of other WiFi light products like IKEA lights or Xiomi Yeelights. I use Yeelight bulbs and custom led strips connected to programmable WiFi chips. Took a bit of soldering but it works flawlessly now. The yeelights and custom strips cost a fraction of the official hue products.

There were literal swatika wearing Nazis among other far right groups leading the 2014 Euromaiden protests that kicked out the Russian backed president in Ukraine. The leftist groups were anti-protest and also anti-government.

A shocking number of our laws are written by lobbyist. Like you can't import foreign cars unless they're the exact model sold in the US or over 25 years old, because of anti competive laws created by automotive lobby's.

The film Chinatown was originally supposed to be part of a trilogy of corruption in early Los Angeles. Chinatown was about water, The Two Jakes was about oil, and a third film about transportation that was never produced.

While the third film was never fully realized, Robert Zemeckis used the idea as inspiration for Who Framed Rodger Rabbit. Rodger Rabbit is a neo-noir set in early LA, at one point Bob Hodkins says something along the lines of "Don't you know LA has the best public transit in the world!"

Yeah I've ran into this problem a few times now. I use my Occulus Quest on my PC and it needs USB 3.2 cables. The meta branded ones are crazy expensive but I found a third party one for fairly cheap.

I just got a Pixel 7 Pro and it needs a special powerblock to rapid charge. My Samsung block from my S10+ didn't meet the requirements, I had to go back to the Essential Phones included charger. The USB-C port on my PC's case is at normal speeds, but the port on the mono charges rapidly.

FYI it was newer by 2 years. I don't think anyone is complaining about the performance of lightning over USB C, its that people want things to be standardized like everything non-apple is. Apple could have contributed to the USB C research and made a better cable that's available to everyone, like IBM with the original USB or Phillips with HDMI.

Bose pretty much wrote the book on noise cancelation. They introduced the first commercially available noise cancelling aviation headphones in 1989.

Nampa has the furthest west Culvers in the country. I'd say buy it and enjoy them butter burgers.

Its super strange, especially since Android originally allowed it. When I get an authentication code sent the notification gives an option to copy it, and some apps just automatically input it if I leave the app open when the message is recived.
