The decline of the Third Space is an interesting social phenomenon.
The more comments I read the more apt this is. Without places to just be, with no expectation or obligation to be a consumer, somewhere to be around people with or without socializing. Makes you feel like part of your community, part of something that’s bigger than you, to be seen, to be acknowledged.

These guys (and gals) travel all over the globe. It’s not like the races are set up to accommodate a regular sleep cycles for them. He could also be out drinking and womanizing like in the “good old days” when drivers were “real men” with half as many races per year.
Anti-capitalist maybe, but pro capital. Dear leader and his cronies need the cash crops to for export, fancy houses don’t grow on trees. They grow off the the sweat of the worker.
I didn’t intend to say the farmer is making the choices solely for personal profit. They grow what sells, or what they’re told to, so they can afford to live, not their choice.
In the end I see we agree. It’s not about an ism. It’s all about cash. Money. Capital. And greed doesn’t care about crop rotation- it’s too short sighted.
Perhaps I was in school before the idea of different learning styles was a thing. I always asked why, or how, things works. I need to understand the why to understand the how…or the how for the why... if that makes sense.
No, the work sheet doesn’t help, nor the make up work sheet. “That’s just how it is” does not explain anything. I’m bad at math because, beyond basic arithmetic, it’s all gobbledygook to me. Now I get self conscious, freeze up and can’t add simple numbers if put on the spot. So I make self deprecating comments about myself because I have no self esteem. Not that I’m proud of my failure.
Might be the idea. “They won’t dare try anything now, because it’ll be worse.”

No one is pointing out that these “convection currents” created are not taking any bacteria away.
That is only steam from the water added, or water left in the meat- it doesn’t take anything away with it… otherwise you’d have an empty pan and meat vapor all over your kitchen.
