But you could switch out the whole lemmy ui with wefwef if you wanted to. It probably doesn't have all the admin functionality, but theoretically it's possible.

Fastest way for me (and probably others) to subscribe.

Yeah, Lemmy is more or less just a new way to do what Usenet has been doing for decades.

WTF, did they use a blacklist for username validation?

It was the Apache reverse proxy. I had to add ProxyPreserveHost On to my vhost.

I set up my own instance and I could subscribe to a bunch of communities and get posts from them. But beyond that I'm not seeing any updates. My logs are spammed full with messages like this.

Do they think I'm on http instead of https? I'm behind Apache as a reverse Proxy. Do I have to tell them or lemmy that I'm on https?

I'm really confused because the logs indicate that the messages are at least reaching the app.

OpenSUSE Tumbleweed. I like it for being a rolling release with quality control. On the one hand I don't like its restrictive defaults but on the other hand I know enough to work with them and that's given me a leaner system.

That's exactly what Threads is. But nobody else wants to play with them.

wefwef.app is also another web UI.

https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui

They literally all run the same program, lemmy.

Now this is Pod Racing!

Kreuzpfostiert von Lases.

She thinks I should rather go outside, like the civilised person she is.

I created a community for cfs, mirroring r/cfs.

(Don't know if any of these links will work, we'll see.)

It's pretty new, but I hope many others suffering from this stupid sickness or those interested in learning about it will join.
