I watched the incredulous dipshit go to Springfield to interview people- and I think his purpose was to encourage the cat-eating story. In doing so, every Haitian he interviewed was reasonable "I'm only hear to work hard and build a good life" and they ALL laughed when asked about the cat thing- "never heard of this, that's ridiculous".

ALL of the white people he interviewed (that he showcased anyway) were basically protagonists from the Turner Diaries. ALL of them reinforcing the cat-eating narrative. Some of the most repellent examples of the Ohio man on display there. ALL of them saying "yeah we had more cats around until the Haitians got here- then they started disappearing".

Since, given an undeserving degree of generosity, it's at the very least anecdotal bullshit- I choose to believe that IF cats are disappearing from the streets, I'm thinking maybe Haitians are taking cats off the streets as pets and giving them good homes instead. Which is a much more sane explanation.

"Mythical defeat of Ukraine", idk what else would you call consistently losing territory, making a great deal of having a dozen half-century-old F16 as a replacement airforce, and 'scraping the barrel' to increase military recruitment? What about how Ukraine is planning on halting debt payments, and begging for scraps from Europe? I'd like to ask this guy, is this the behavior of a country that's winning a war, or even successfully defending itself?

being alive probably helps her see that the democratic base isn't exactly chill with what's going on with Israel. I wouldn't go as far as calling that "better political instincts" though

most of us got fired after the campaign wrapped up (got my pink slip in the mail)

I lost the plot back when Chomsky broke with tradition and said it was a good thing the US was dropping bombs in support of the Kurds... I stopped following along then, but I don't think even then I understood that conflict.

Is there a good write-up somewhere that outlines the basics of this?

I've found some document from the PKK about "Democratic Confederation" which my anarchist acquaintances really talk up, but I also thought they were ML's?
