I just realized the saying is “Do the carpets match the drapes” but in my head I was thinking “Do the curtains match the drapes”. Even though curtains and drapes are similar. Brain fart.

Except the US isn’t producing as many weapons with the budget and has to cover multiple fronts. China only has to focus on an island they can hit with artillery.

They’ll do it once their own electronics fabs have caught up to an acceptable degree. Right now they are dumping tons of money into this so it’s really a matter of time. In the meantime, they are stockpiling more and more weaponry at a pace nobody else can compete with.
