I think the last couple of years have really shown what a pathetic POS Zelensky and co are. Like, they are literally sacrificing the future of their entire country and its people for a proxy war that even their master, America, has grown bored of.

If it wasn't glaringly obvious back in 2022, it's basically a confirmed fact now that the entire conflict is one giant American scheme to weaken Russia and shackle the EU to the USA. Seeing daddy America divert everything to the genocidal entity and forgetting Ukraine should be a gigantic slap in the face to anyone still actually stupid enough to think that this conflict is about muh freeDUMBs and stopping evil Putler.

There is a 0% chance that Ukraine will join NATO or that America will militarily intervene on the side of Ukraine (LOL), and even joining the EU is a distant fantasy. Zelensky's 1940s Nazi collaborationist fantasy of Ukraine being the "Israel of Europe" and the imperial core's new attack dog will never ever happen because Ukraine will never be as valuable as Israel is. America is literally on the verge of starting a new disastrous and unpopular war (Even MAGAts are split over this one) over Israel's unquenchable bloodlust. It's both truly sad and pathetic to see idiots laud Zelensky as a great leader while he is sending generations of men into the meat grinder as a kind of advertisement of Ukraine's servility and bootlicking skills to the West. All while Blackrock literally steals everything that's remotely valuable in the entire country.

I think the main lessons of the Ukraine proxy war are:

1. Never let neoliberals run a war

2. Never ever ever trust America or its vassal states

3. No more half measures, Walter.

What's funny is that reddit libs are still in denial about Biden's cognitive decline and keep posting "But what about Dump". Ignoring the fact that Biden probably wouldn't even survive the first year of his second term if he got reelected.

Stumbled across some garbage propaganda videos from a imperialist stenographer called Sarah Paine (Hoover institution ghoul) and OMG these empty husks are so fucking insufferable.

Vapid, regurgitated cold war talking points that have long turned rancid that even cockroaches don't bother with them. Que the "communism killed trillions", "Mao stole my family slaves" comments, "Mao ate 40 trillion people in China", vastly underestimate Hitler's death toll or the death tolls of the British empire.

I'm willing to bet that the only thing that would make this desiccated husk cry is if you tossed Washington's moldy dentures into the garbage.

I'm laughing my ass off at all the libs saying the USAID getting defunded is part of Putin's master plan, like he's Palpatine or something. But in all serious, WTF is going on?

Is this some kind of failson vs failson internal civil war where the libertarian failsons (Musk) genuinely believe that USAID and the NED are helping colored people and that's why they need to be defunded? Versus the Kagan neocon failsons who know that the NED/USAID are designed to destabilize America's enemies.

I'm starting to think that Chris Hedges was right when he said that America will last for 15 years at most back in 2018.

Not gonna lie, I find it genuinely hilarious how worms like Mette Frederiksen and other Altlantists still dream that they are independent when they are actually complete vassal states of the American empire. Vassals that America has shown time and time again will be discarded whenever the empire feels like it.

Was browsing Natopedia and found this absolutely cringe shit that happened in 1999. A bunch of gusanos waving the flags of a dead puppet state.

Imagine if Trump ends up inadvertently bringing down American hegemony over the planet by pursuing rabid jingoism against America's own vassal states and global institutions. Truly the harm reduction candidate of the millennium.

Also, it would be hilarious if Obama, Clinton, Blinken, and the rest of the war criminals had to watch Trump be America's Gorbachev and reverse all of their work to ensure American dominance over the planet. data-laughing obama-sad

Looks like one of India's former leaders, Manmohan Singh, passed away.

Anyone know if he was actually good? Or was he another generic neoliberal?

Reddit is gushing over him which is probably a bad sign.

HOLY SHIT! Based Soviet Union defeated the evil empire with spit and band aids. pit sputnik

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I honestly suspect that a Trump presidency might be even worse for Ukraine. Especially in the long run.

Why? Their whole strategy is to basically do a "ceasefire", which would basically be a Minsk 3 and freeze the conflict for a while and allow Ukraine to rearm before a more bloody continuation of the war occurs again. At best Trump might kick the can down the road and cast blame on president Gruesome Newsom in 2029 when both sides go to war again.

You might ask, why would Russia go along with this since they are winning? Because the Russian government is full of neoliberals and has been dragging their feet for 10 years now. It wouldn't surprise me if Russia agrees in exchange for getting the 100 billion back.

Might be a hot take, but Mass Effect 2.

I love Mass effect, despite its flaws, but Mass Effect 2 was the game that derailed the series and basically forced Mass Effect 3 to have an unsatisfactory ending. So many concepts from Mass Effect 1 like the cipher, visions, Virgil, the Thorian were completely abandoned in favor of one giant video game length side mission. Sure the suicide mission was kind of cool, but at the end of Mass Effect 2 we learned almost nothing about the reapers from the last game.

But Cerberus is by far the worst mistake. From Shepard's POV, they literally witnessed Cerberus do grotesque, inhumane experiments throughout ME1 only a month before game start but the writers forced us to join these space Nazis. Cerberus is comically evil and is constantly doing cartoon villain experiments. Also, the space Nazis somehow have it in their hearts to spend billions of credits so that Shepard can save humanity.

I had my brother play Deus Ex: Human Revolution and I remembered how much wacky fun I had.

America in 2027 is depicted a crumbling dystopia (basically what America will actually be in 3 years minus some fancy tech) where Musk types like Sarif are "creating" wealth by further segregating deindustrialized cities like Detroit.

There is literally a mission where you infiltrate a FEMA concentration camp in a deindustrialized region of Detroit that was built to house dissidents. And a literal fedposting tries to hire you to orchestrate a gang war to prevent people from finding out.

I find China's depiction in the game the most fascinating because China in HR is basically what the West fantasized China would become in the future. A neoliberal western vassal with a weak "Communist" party. There are Blackwater style PMCs in the game operating to protect Western sweatshops in China and brutalize the populace. Luckily, I had Jensen take them all out. fedposting xi-gun

Also, Israel apparently got wiped out so maybe the Cyberpunk dystopia is kind of based. zionist-despair

Guasanos coping that their genocidal puppet no longer exists.

Thinking about replaying Mass Effect again, is it better to save or let the council die? Which choice is best for advancing the cause of the galactic working class?

Prior to the conflict, I wasn't a fan of liberals. But at least they were better than conservatives because they didn't want to glass the Middle East, protested against the Iraq war, made fun of right wing bullshit on Fox News, and didn't want to gun down Muslims or Hispanics. Or so I thought.

Liberals have gone full :frothingfash: and are literally regurgitating 1930s Nazi talking points about the Slavs. As I Russian speaker, I stopped going on most subreddits now due to the obscene racism. I've seen shit ranging from "Aktually, Ruzzians are not white or European" to "Lets break Russia up and commit mass ethnic cleansing". It's not even just Russians, I've seen a massive surge in racist posts about Chinese and Indian people since the war started.

Liberals are literally swallowing the most inane nonsense from Ukraine like "Russian orcs shocked at seeing toilets for the first time". And lets not forget the "Russian brainpan too smol to launch nukes so lets nuke them ourselves" posts all over :reddit-logo:

Anyone who even remotely suggests that we shouldn't arm and send 16 year old Ukrainians to be blown up in human wave attacks is called a Kremlin agent.

Amazingly, many right-wingers like Peterson or Candace Owens have better takes on the situation than liberals do. Does anyone have an explanation for this?
