Totally agree on this. Beside missing the headphone jack, the FP5 was just very mediocre in my experience. Haptics and battery life/thermal performance were terrible, software had some serious flaws (bugs like randoms reboots, framerate issues, portions of the UI didn't normally fit the screen using certain settings). I got rid of it pretty soon after i got it.

Not to mention they decided to skip Android 14 for the FP4 and just go straight ahead with Android 15… i mean, it was a good choice, but they should've had their shit together in the first place.

I really hope they will do better with the 6, although i have serious doubts about that. I would like to support Fairphone, but won't buy another Fairphone if they are as unpolished as the FP5.

Honestly, this design style is getting too cartoonish... I really don't like this

They are pretty much the same now. Such a shame, because i really liked to old K-9 (both design and performance were better IMO). Thunderbird is fine tho.

Yep, this exactly.

I have a Moto G55 because they are one of the fewer out there with a LCD screen (i wanted a phone that was not prone to static images, such as navigation on highest brightness for many hours a week and i really, really don't like Oled ghosting/black smearing). But sadly, due to bugs and bloatware, Motorola is a no-go.

Such a shame... the G2 was probably the phone i loved most of all i had over the years.

Motorola basically does this too: Live Lock Screen, an app owned by Taboola News.
