Honestly its fucking annoying literally had to make several user profiles just for my work life and my other invasive activities
Sadly dont think you can buy locally from a store but only through their website, they'll deliever to the address that you put so maybe use someone else's and just pick it up like a friend's or family member's. Think they also do esim but im not 100% but if they do that would be emailed so no waiting
