They just bought up the largest waterpark in Illinois..... yep, a waterpark.

The last article I read on it said they had big ideas to increase profit at the waterpark and it was something the old owners never thought of, which is to start selling alcohol. I can't imagine how much a watered down margarita at a waterpark is going to cost.

This has me seriously considering using a company like privacy.com to just create random CC numbers per sketchy website.

I heard good things about new patch so I gave the free fly a shot last week....

A decade of development and I couldn't even complete a lot of the things I was trying to do, it was so laggy that it wasn't even registering actions I was taking to progress the starter quest and the servers crashed 2 or 3 times just when I was trying to get off the starter planet making me repeat the "tutorial". I feel like even if it was good, it's a game that now you have to spend 10 hours on youtube trying to figure out all the in game systems and what you want to do

Again, how is this different from an artist rendering? There's been artists creating digital media for documentaries for a long long time.

Just to play devil's advocate, does that mean any "artist rendering" shouldn't be in a documentary? Documentaries have had drawings, with a disclaimer that it is an artist rendering, for as long as I can remember. Or what about when they hire actors to do a "dramatization" of what happened, how is this different?

It sounds like a nightmare, but I'm sure the coke helped.

there would be no place to put a TV screen that’s visible from the whole seating

That was kind of the point, it was called a "conversation pit"

Development has been going crazy for the last year or so. I don't regret a single cent I've paid for the nabu casa cloud subscription (not many subs I can say that about). I do, however, regret that I only have so much money to spend on new things to attach TO home assistant and start automating.

Gaming? Use Windows (and yes, although I’m a proud Proton user, some games just won’t work, like Valorant and PUBG).

I love proton on my steamdeck, and I'd like to try to go linux vs having to stay on win10 with no updates on my gaming computer. But outside of some games not working, a lot of hardware/accessories don't have official support either. As far as I can tell, goxlr, streamdeck, and other hardware/software I use daily, have no official support, which for items I use that often makes it pretty much a non-starter on migrating.
